Working on behalf of the South West Development Commission and the WA Department of Education and Training, Miles Morgan recently completed a review of issues relating to labour markets for young people in Western Australia.
The review focused on education and training service provision, barriers of access to education and training, factors affecting youth unemployment, and the nature of skills shortages in the South West region. The review encompassed an extensive stakeholder consultation process, including young people, teachers, career development staff, VET staff and practitioners, parents, industry, and VET in schools staff.
