Troubleshooting guide: Assessment in VET

Developed for the WA Department of Education and Training to help Registered Training Organisations develop, implement and refine competency-based assessment processes. Miles Morgan created the second edition of the document in 2008. [ read more ]

Developing assessment tools for quality outcomes in VET

A publication developed for the Western Australian Department of Education and Training to assist trainers and assessors to design practical assessment tools that ensure the quality of evidence collected, and the efficacy of the judgements that assessors are able to make on the basis of that evidence. Professional Standards for Australian Career Development Practitioners

Miles Morgan assisted the Career Industry Council of Australia to develop a set of professional standards for career development practitioners in Australia. [ read more ]

Guiding Principles for Career Development Services and Information

A framework of guiding principles, developed on behalf of CICA and the Australian federal government, to provide those who offer career development services and career information products with a set of criteria with which to assess and improve the quality of their services or products. Integrating equity into NQC policies and practices

A report outlining recommendations for more systematically integrating equity considerations into the operations and functioning of the VET National Quality Council. [ read more ]

NQC Equity Assessment Tool

The National Quality Council commissioned Miles Morgan to develop an equity impact assessment tool that would assist NQC Secretariat staff and members of NQC Action Groups to anticipate the impact of NQC policies and products on particular groups. [ read more ]
