Staff / Laura Finlayson
Laura joined Miles Morgan in September 2009 as the Administrative Assistant. She has previously worked in administration and has completed the ITC Australia MYOB Professional course. Laura is responsible for payroll, accounts payable/receivable and general bookkeeping tasks at Miles Morgan and assists with general office duties as required.
Laura is currently completing both a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science at the University of Western Australia, majoring in politics, philosophy, physiology and psychology. She will graduate in mid 2012. She helped set up a new business as part of the Young Achievement Australia Business Skills Program and was a finalist in their Secondary Business Person of the Year Awards in 2006. She has also won both a General Exhibition and a Lord Florey Student Prize for her secondary schooling achievements.
Laura’s outside projects include collaborating on articles for a British cultural magazine and generally developing her writing and editing skills. She also plays guitar and sings in her spare time.
