Projects / Integrating equity into NQC policies and practices
A report outlining recommendations for more systematically integrating equity considerations into the operations and functioning of the VET National Quality Council.
This entailed a literature review identifying current examples of integrated equity management processes, consultation with members of the council, its standing committees and TVET secretariat staff, the determination of any barriers to adopting a strengthened approach to equity, and the development of a set of operating principles and implementation steps.
This project was followed in late 2009 with the development of an Equity assessment tool for the NQC.
