Working on behalf of the WA Department of Sport and Recreation, Miles Morgan recently completed an evaluation of the Communicare Active Together Program over a two-year period from 2009-2011. The Communicare Active Together Program is aimed at enhancing the participation of culturally and linguistically diverse (CaLD) youth in active sport and recreation activities in the south-east metropolitan corridor of Perth.
The evaluation involved the collection of baseline data, which was reported on in October 2009, an interim report on the program's impact submitted in April 2010, and a final report outlining the program’s impact at the end of the two-year evaluation period in May 2011. It also offers some recommendations and possible future actions to enhance the program’s operation and impact as it moves into its third year.
