Miles Morgan was appointed to research and report on the effectiveness of existing strategies to engage parents in the career development and transitions of young people.
The report was based on an extensive literature review that considered national and international sources, as well as consultations with key experts and stakeholders.
The report included:
- definition of key components of existing, effective parental engagement initiatives, products, services and information provision
- identification of gaps in current strategies designed to engage parents in the career development of young people
- recommendations for addressing identified gaps in existing practices, and improving parental engagement at a national level
